LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

Location: Washington, DC


Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 200 national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Associate 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join their team in Washington, DC. The successful candidate must be admitted to practice in both Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier, accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • Active bar licenses in Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
  • 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience, with federal court litigation experience being a plus.
  • Strong writing skills are required; Law Review or Clerkship experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to high standards of client service and professional drive.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial litigation cases, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, and preparing for trial.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and representation in complex litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and ensure excellent client service.
