Core tasks:
• Prepare daily cash position and manage daily cash and banking activities (balance reporting, electronic receipts and payments, maintenance of accounts and other treasury services, etc.).
• Process documentation ownership, create treasury/cash management documentation, including Daily Summary, Weekly Summary, 13 Week Cash Forecast, and related periodic updates; ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Prepare, analyze, and consolidate monthly reports, identifying projection variances from prior month reports.
• Support finance leaders with proactive weekly dashboards including cash positioning, reconciliation, monitoring of cash pool activity and balances, and payment execution.
• Responsive communication with vendors, consultants, or banks during implementation of projects and new capabilities.
• Assist staff, management, and internal/external partners with issue resolution.
• Assists with the transition process of Treasury tasks and responsibilities of selling company as well of the integration of new reporting practices.
• Maintain accurate, timely and well-organized files and supporting documentation for areas of responsibility.
• Bank account management, including opening, closing, maintenance, and recording of bank accounts.
• Collaborate closely with other functions (Finance, Tax, Accounting, IT, Risk, Operations, Legal, etc.) to support projects and transformation efforts.
• Assists with the creation, maintenance, and organization of the Policies and Procedures and related documents; specifically supporting the development of Treasury Initiatives and implementation plans for achievement of Treasury Strategy.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc management reports as requested.
• Handles a variety of sensitive and confidential information needed for the treasury process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Important Skill Sets:
o Banking Web Tools (preference with Wells Fargo and Citibank)
o Intermediate Excel Skills
o Dashboards (preference with PowerBI)
o ERP (preference with NetSuite)
