Are you passionate about healthcare and want to play a key role in improving patient care? Our Family Medicine partner is hiring a Medical Scribe to work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to document patient encounters in Westminster, CO.

This position is critical in ensuring accurate documentation, which helps enhance the quality of care and reduce physician burnout.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including retrieving patient information, scheduling appointments, and ordering lab tests.
• Ensure all patient information is properly documented and stored in electronic health records (EHR).
• Communicate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the medical field is preferred.
• Strong typing and computer skills.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Location: Westminster, CO

Pay Rate: $19.50 - $24.00 per hour
