We need a team leader to help take care of our people, our assets and our DOT compliance to ensure the evening transport operations are done timely and accurately.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work Sunday through Thursday evenings
• Take care of our people:
  • Train and assist our transport drivers in preparing loads in the evenings
  • Communicate with our transport team as well as other branch warehouse managers in regard to product and equipment shipments.
  • Maintain BOL for each enter branch shipments to track equipment and products.
  • Assist and support the transport team through servant leadership – leading by example
  • Fill in for the drivers to support their vacation time etc.
• Take care of our assets:
  • Ensure the trucks are properly maintained and in working order to support the transport team
  • Make sure that drivers keep the trucks clean and well taken care of. The inside of the cab and box.
  • Oversee the fleet and supporting equipment are running properly to allow our team to function with minimal issues.
• Take care of our compliance:
  • Utilize our software systems to maintain compliance with DOT HOS regulations for our elogs
  • Oversee the daily use of all DOT forms to include daily inspections, truck requirements, etc.
  • Maintain our fleet to the DOT standard for all road requirements.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Minimum Class B with clean driving record, safe driving history
• Prior warehouse or fleet/DOT experience is preferred
• Clean Driving record, safe driving history
• Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
• Adaptable, Cooperative, Responsible, Diligent, Attention to Detail, Works closely with route drivers, managers and delivery drivers
• Prior Management experience preferred
