Imperial Events Security Services is Hiring a Driver (On-Call/As-Needed) Near Philadelphia, PA
The Driver supports the Operations Department with transportation needs which ensure the preparedness and success of the entire organization. The Driver will take direction from all members of the Operations Team in order to prioritize tasks. The Driver will be responsible for ensuring supplies, resources, and staffing are dispatched and delivered appropriately.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver equipment and supplies to IESS events/venues as required
Operate IESS owned or rented vehicles safely and responsibly in order to transport equipment, supplies, and personnel to sites within a 100 miles radius of Philadelphia
Ensure open and clear lines of communication exist across the organizational chart
Collaborate with the management team in order to ensure IESS is always efficient and improving
Maintain the IESS fleet, including cleaning and washing of vehicles, trailers, and other equipment
Travel when required, occasionally overnight
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 25 years of age or older
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
As a condition of employment, employees must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening.
Must possess a valid US drivers license
Must pass a Driver's Record check
Must have a flexible schedule which includes working some nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
Neat and professional appearance
Upbeat, friendly, and personable demeanor
Must be able to handle urgent situations with calm and poise
Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs
Ability to operate various sized vehicles up to and including a 15 passenger transit van
Ability to operate a vehicle with a trailer or otherwise be mechanically inclined is preferred
