Overview

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations to maintain a healthy workplace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct safety training programs for employees
• Fabricate safety procedures and protocols
• Write detailed reports on safety incidents and compliance measures
• Implement OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
• Monitor occupational health of employees
• Conduct root cause analysis for safety incidents
• Complete any other tasks as assigned by management.

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role.
• Certification in EHS or related field preferred.
• Previous experience conducting training sessions.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Competencies

• Acceptable level of proficiency in communication to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
• Capacity to quickly learn required skills, such as basic office equipment and selected company software programs.
• Proficient in report writing and data analysis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with EPA guidelines.
• Must be a team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
