Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on a wide variety of equipment and systems in our facility. This individual must be able to work independently and in a team environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify the root cause of problems and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Coordinate with other departments as necessary to schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new maintenance programs and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or vocational training in maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of maintenance procedures for a variety of equipment and systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
