Impulsive Group is Hiring a Director of Finance Near New York, NY
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Director of Finance
Responsibilities
- Prepares weekly cash flow for small boutique hotel and food and beverage outlets.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and operating forecasts.
- Prepares daily and month end journal entries for various entities.
- Manages the payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Champion of point of sale and property management systems.
- Partners with department heads to prepare monthly financial accruals and reclassifications.
- Trains non -financial managers on monthly financial statement review and budget preparation.
- Maintains general ledger and all balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepares Ad-hoc and analysis reports.
- Act with high integrity and will work to improve stakeholder profits.
- Creates financial SOPs as needed.
- Safeguards cash and assets. Reconciles cash and credit card payments received daily.
- Prepares daily banking reconciliations for all assigned entity bank accounts.
Qualifications
- Prefer someone with a bachelor’s in accounting or relevant experience.
- Must have worked for a hotel company or hotel with food and beverage in New York City.
- Individual must be organized and self -starter.
- Individual must work onsite office hours Monday to Friday.
- Possess advance excel skills.
- Individual must deliver clear and concise communication to relevant stakeholders.
Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually
