Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing parts meet quality specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Performing incoming goods inspection – IGI
• Performing measurements and visual inspections
• Performing quality tests on finished parts
• Performing various tests –i.e. durability test, push/pull test, climate test, motor performance test
• Recording inspection into quality system
• Production reporting
• Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards – IATF 16949
• Escalation of issues to manager
• Following Internal Quality Issues procedure – IQI
• Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
• Housekeeping – 5S-Standard
• Other duties assigned

Education & Skills Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Good reading comprehension of work instructions
• Good ability to work in a team environment
• Good organizational skills 
• Detail oriented
• Basic understanding of metric system
• Basic math skills
• Basic knowledge of measurement devices
• Basic experience with quality systems
• Advanced computer skills
• Attendance and punctuality
