Description
Position Summary
The Sales Engineer is assigned to specific Pulp and Paper mill accounts in the Northwest region. This role involves maintaining current business levels and driving growth by showcasing the capabilities of Western Machine Works, a division of In-Place Machining, to various business and equipment segments within each account. The Sales Engineer will engage in continuous networking to develop a broad customer base. Proficiency in sales skills and comprehensive sales strategies is essential for success in this position.
Knowledge
Basic knowledge of overall pulp and paper manufacturing operations and equipment with an emphasis on paper machine roll maintenance and repair techniques. Ability to understand mechanical function of process equipment and assist the customer with preparing repair or new replacement options.

Technical degree related to engineering and/or manufacturing.
Five years manufacturing experience and three years sales experience.
