Job Title: Reporting Developer
Client: FWS Environmental Conservation Online System (ECOS)
Location/Remote: Falls Church, VA (2-3 days in office, 2-3 days WFH)
Clearance: Public Trust
Citizenship: US or Green Card / Permanent Resident – must pass a Background Investigation
Education (If required): BS - Computer and Information Systems and 5-7 years’ experience
Description: Experience as a full-stack developer designing, building, and maintaining complex, mission critical systems by striving for build and test automation, "keeping it simple", following industry best practices, and embracing agile, test-driven development.

Tasks:
- Data Analysis: Report developers dive into vast datasets, extracting valuable trends, patterns, and relevant information. This involves querying databases, cleaning and transforming data, and applying statistical methods to unveil actionable insights.
- Report Design: Crafting the visual narrative, Report Developers design reports that go beyond mere data representation. They strategically choose visualization tools, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and arrange data elements to ensure clarity and impact.
- Tool Proficiency: Mastery of reporting tools is important. This expertise empowers report developers to create dynamic and interactive reports tailored to business needs.
- Collaboration: Effective teamwork is paramount. Report developers collaborate closely with data analysts, business analysts, and stakeholders. By understanding reporting requirements and gathering feedback, they refine reports to align with evolving business needs.
Technical Skills
At the core of a report developer's skill set is technical proficiency. They must navigate a range of reporting tools with proficiency to develop informative and comprehensible reports.
