Desktop Support:Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support to join their team!
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Desktop Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role is perfect for recent college graduates with 2-4 years of technical experience, including internships or part-time jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and a proactive attitude towards solving technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop systems, applications, and a broad range of IT-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems promptly.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using our ticketing system.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues, minimizing downtime for end users.
- Collaborate with an external IT service desk team and escalate issues when necessary.
- Handle P1 escalations on a rotational on-call basis every 3rd Friday.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of technical experience, including internships or part-time jobs.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users.
- Proactive, go-getter attitude with the ability to independently find solutions.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and minimal absenteeism.

- Two rounds of interviews with the internal IT team.
- Work closely with a small team of two internal members and an external IT service desk team.

- Rotational Fridays: Onsite every 3rd Friday with on-call duties for P1 escalations.
