Location: Little Rock, Arkansas
Quality Technician:Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Quality Technician to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections and dimensional measurements of incoming materials, in process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform product testing using a variety of tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and electronic testing devices.
- Record and analyze inspection and test data to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Investigate non-conformities and quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality records, inspection reports, and test results in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal audits and quality management system reviews to verify compliance with ISO standards and other quality management frameworks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and training programs.
- Support production teams by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to resolve quality-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to address quality concerns and ensure continuous improvement.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- 4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience with quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Familiar with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or other quality management system standards.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- QMS Systems experience.
- Experience with Acumatica or other Cloud based ERP systems.
