Inclusively is partnering with a life insurance company to hire a Marketing Content Manager. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

ABOUT INCLUSIVELY:

This position involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The Content Team Manager will supervise the team managing the preparation of direct mail advertising in support of our Direct Mail Acquisition, Retention and Customer programs channels. Specifically, the manager will:

  • Provide oversight and direction to the team finalizing direct mail creative including compliance requirements, versioning, and proof reading.
  • Set daily priorities with staff, coordinating all assigned programs for completion according to specifications, timelines and schedules.
  • Partner with outside agencies, internal Creative, Strategy, Compliance partners, and Traffic.
  • Be responsible for meeting accuracy requirements for direct mail materials through training programs for staff and QC programs.
  • Be a critical thinker who can solve a variety of challenges, negotiate with internal and external partners, and verify requirements are met before artwork for direct mail is released to print production.
  • Work with Traffic Coordinator to balance workloads among Content team staff members and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Develop, update and maintain process documentation and have a mindset of continuous improvement to deliver efficiencies in the work.
  • Lead the Team in preparing for and transitioning into new technologies that support personalization at scale, updates to compliance requirements at scale, and leverage of digital printing technology at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Workflow and Coordination: Oversee the overall workflow and coordination between teams, including compliance, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining communication with stakeholders.
  • Support and Drive Excellence: Develop, support and drive standards for a team that will utilize technology to perform tasks, further workflow standardization and processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiencies in task management.
  • Manage a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment: Provide directional oversight to keep the team focused, maintain accuracy, monitor training and development, and assess/audit performance.
  • Address Issues Quickly: Anticipate and plan for workload and deadlines, oversee team output and quality, direct and delegate effectively.
  • Efficiency and Future Readiness: Align teams in a logical way to optimize efficiency, particularly as we look towards future tech-enablement initiatives. Keep current on industry technology and trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Creative Design, or Print Production preferred.

5 years of related experience required.

  • Must be proficient in project management and workload management
  • Experience in direct mail, graphic design, copy editing, and print production in a highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, flexibility working with multiple cross-functional teams, and attention to detail.
  • Must be experienced with project management workflow tools, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Working knowledge of print manufacturing, print and lettershop specifications, logic and data processing instructions with a variable personalization tool.
  • Mastery of copy development and editing processes and procedures; ability to apply innovations to work and leverage efficiency across channels.
  • Experience in negotiating copy points and compliance language with internal partners creative and compliance partners.
  • Must have prior managerial experience in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize work within the team and anticipate stakeholder needs/provide solutions.
  • Ability to direct production agency in tactical efforts as well as support strategic projects.
  • Ability to promote innovation and efficiencies.
  • Ability to resolve scheduling conflicts and changes due to evolving information, manage expectations, and determine priorities.
  • Ability to identify root-causes of issues with the team, provide alternate solutions, and engage internal and external partners and reach alignment on how best to proceed.
  • Keep apprised of new information that impacts the team’s work, identify impacts on projects, and communicate impacts to appropriate parties.
  • Ability to understand and help quantify the business impact of team’s decisions.
  • Ability to analyze options, apply knowledge and experience to ensure the best outcome.
  • Strong communication skills required to define work, negotiate changes, and influence decisions.
  • Ability to distill complex information into a clear, concise format. Enforce accountability model with direct feedback to ensure complete, accurate, and timely instructions.

Salary range: $90,000-$125,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt
