Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Incorporates the six principles of trauma informed care throughout all aspects of their work.
- Assists healthcare providers with patient appointments and procedures
- Obtains and records patient vital signs, medical history, and medications
- Prepares and administers medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Performs various clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKG, and injections
- Maintains accurate and thorough patient records in electronic health records system
- Provides patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare measures
- Schedules and coordinates patient appointments and follow-up
- Ensures the cleanliness and organization of patient care areas and supplies
- Adheres to all healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Performs all other assigned duties
- Current active nursing license in the state of Indiana
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health records software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
