The Event Assistant will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and logistics of events from inception to completion, under the guidance of the Event Manager.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and venue staff to coordinate event details and ensure all requirements are met.
- Assist with on-site event setup, including signage, decorations, audiovisual equipment, and seating arrangements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media and email campaigns.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment, and assist with procurement as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event planning processes and techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Event Manager or senior team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry event equipment and supplies as needed.
