Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an experienced Transmission Technician at our location in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. This individual must have previous experience as a transmission technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu , Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Key Responsibilities
- Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of Allison malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
- Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
- At least two years’ experience heavy duty truck repair
- Maintain Allison training certifications
- Familiar with electrical diagnostics used for diesel truck repair
- CDL is a plus, but not required
