Job Summary: The remote Staff Accountant performs and supports accounting functions with daily & monthly activity (65%), financial & other duties as assigned (35%). This role supports the Finance Department as required with their daily, weekly and monthly workload. They will also support Customer Service and Claims in their daily handling of policy-related issues with regards to premium credit card disputes.
Job Location: Remote work is not available in AK, MT, HI (US)
Main Responsibilities

• Manage premium daily bank reconciliations.
• Assists in handling of policy changes.
• Assists in the processing of daily transactions.
• Assists with month end close process.
• Handles credit card disputes.
• Invoicing.
• Processes refund checks and voided checks.
• Manages group policies and broker checks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer and data entry skills.
• Fast learner and self-motivated.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• QuickBooks, NetSuite or any equivalent ERP software a plus.

Experience: Up to 3 years’
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)
