The Test & Balance Services Estimator supports the growth of the Test & Balance Services of the Company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities will include the following:
· Pursuing bid opportunities for a professional HVAC testing and balancing contractor
· Reviewing detailed HVAC plans and specifications and preparing bids for HVAC testing and balancing
· Reviewing client bid lists/ftp sites, create bid lists and bid files, track addendums & RFI’s
· Preparing and sending proposals to multiple clients in a time-critical environment
· Following up with clients for current project documents and equipment submittals for awarded projects
· Creating job folders with all relevant project information for field technician use
Required Qualifications
· 5 years HVAC estimating, drafting, and/or project management experience
· Must be able to read HVAC plans and specifications
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Bluebeam experience a plus.
· Strong time management and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to follow instructions, desire to learn
