Independent Police Auditor - City of Eugene is Hiring a Senior Program Coordinator Near Eugene, OR

The Police Auditor’s office is hiring a Senior Program Coordinator. The Auditor’s office provides an accessible, safe, impartial, and responsive system for complaints against Eugene Police Department (EPD) employees; our mandate is to ensure accountability, fairness, transparency, and trust in the complaint system. This position coordinates all administrative and program functions of the Auditor’s office. Key responsibilities of the position include intake and coordination of processing the complaints received by the office, providing support to the Civilian Review Board and office staff, maintenance of office and board webpages, maintenance of staff calendars and meeting agendas, and other administrative support functions. The Civilian Review Board is a volunteer appointed board that reviews the work of the Auditor’s office, including review of internal investigations performed by EPD Internal Affairs, with participation and monitoring from the Auditor’s office.

Responsibilities

  • Intake and coordination of processing the complaints received by the office,
  • Providing support to the Civilian Review Board and office staff, 
  • Maintenance of office and board webpages, 
  • Maintenance of staff calendars and meeting agendas,
  • Other administrative support functions.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Experience:

Four years of progressively responsible paraprofessional experience in the program or operational area or a related field, including at least two years of experience at the paraprofessional journey-level.

Training:

Equivalent to an Associate’s degree with major course work in the area of assignment, or in public administration, business administration, or a related field.

License or Certificate:

Possession of, or ability to obtain, and maintain an appropriate valid Oregon State driver's license.
