Job Summary

  • Create and plan ELD curriculum and instruction for English Learners
  • Teach ELD standards aligned with curriculum of Independent School District 196
  • Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and coaches to plan and support classroom teachers and the needs of multilingual learners
  • Teach ELD standards aligned with the curriculum of Independent School District 196

Qualifications :

  • Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach ESL
  • Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach 9-12 ELA
  • Strong general academic background
  • Ability to relate positively to students, staff and community
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
  • Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

Teaching and Learning Coordinator and Building Principal
