Genuine curiosity about technology and helping end-users (students and teachers).
Minimum six months experience with end-user support
Experience with technology applications in an educational environment preferred
Technical training and/or demonstrated knowledge of hardware, software applications, and operating systems including Macintosh OS X, Microsoft Windows, iOS, and Chrome OS
Technical training and/or demonstrated knowledge of adding and maintaining network user accounts
Knowledge of current device management software (experience with Casper, Google Admin Console, Active Directory, SCCM a plus)
Vision thinking and knowledge of current educational and technology trends
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills (written and verbal)
Must have the ability to identify, prioritize and resolve technology needs independently and collaboratively.
Ability to lift 40 pounds and work in hard to reach locations including, but not limited to, under desks and tables.
Able to work on a high-functioning Technology Leadership Team 13. Experience with web design and coding.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist in providing global support for all items related to technology (hardware, software, network, mobile devices, LCDs,Audio Visual.etc.)
Assist in monitoring the overall technology usage in the building.
Assist District Technology Staff and vendors for both the purchase and repair of hardware, software and all supporting peripherals.
Advises individuals, departments and school administration about hardware and software needed to support the instructional and administrative programs of the school.
Assists in managing the school-wide network of computers, including primary responsibility for network administration.
Assists in maintaining current inventory of hardware including machine type, size serial number, location, age, repair record, and any other necessary information.
Maintain files on licensed software including purchase information, serial number, installations, backup copies, and manuals.
Integrate into existing building-level technology support team(s) to maximize efficiency and provide technology support services needed
Attend regular district-level meetings for training and direction
Assist building technical support staff in troubleshooting district supported hardware and software
Assist with district-level technology implementations
Perform other duties as assigned directly related to the support of technology in the classroom
Assist in creation, adjustments to, and maintenance of the school website.
