Position Overview:

Indev is seeking a Data Governance Lead to join our elite team of data aficionados. As the lead, you will play a pivotal role providing data governance oversight with the creation of an EDMAS platform capable of unified data sharing to quickly identify vehicle defects and safety issues, while improving vehicle and roadway safety. Your experience and expertise will be crucial with addressing governance requirements, standards, and best practices, all while embracing the Agile mindset to foster innovation and rapid adaptation.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Governance Lead (Databricks, Collibra, Informatica, Alation):

• Support existing NHTSA and DOT data standards and data governance best practices, metadata, and data dictionary ingestion
• Comply with data governance and change control requirement and provide recommendations for improvements
• Design and build Enterprise governance standards
• Recommend / implement data governance software to work with the Data & Analytics platform accessible by stakeholders
• Evaluate and recommend data governance processes based on best practices and cost-effective tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
• 12 years of experience specialized in data
• 5 years of experience with governance related to Data, Data Management, Data Architecture, and Data Quality
• 5 years of experience with data governance tools (MDM, MDM Cloud, etc.)
• 5 years of experience with Informatica/Collibra/Alation
• 3 years of experience with Databricks
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide strategic solutions
• Exceptional communication skills to work seamlessly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification is not required; however, a certification in data governance is a plus
• Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably Department of Transportation
• Active Public Trust clearance

Pay: Up to $178,000.00 per year
