The IndeVets GP Rotating Mentorship Program is a comprehensive, paid mentorship program designed specifically for new and recent grads. This program is designed to help you step into a full-time vet med career more confidently, and with more hands-on support. If youre a practicing vet looking to make a career transition into small animal general practice, this program is built for you, too.

When you join us as a fully paid IndeVet you get:

• Hands-on labs covering ultrasound, surgery, and dentistry
• Fear-Free and BlendVet (DEIB) Certification
• Communication and conflict management training
• A wealth of mental health and wellness resources, including access to our veterinary social worker for 1:1 support
• Me-time Money stipend to use for anything that helps your mental or physical health
• 24/x7 access to our private clinical channel on our IndeVets App. Think of it like a group chat with a few hundred of the smartest crew from vet school.
• Our Veterinary Social worker partners with you, your clinical leadership team, and the rest of IndeVets to give support in those times where we question why we ever wanted to do this in the first place.

Here are the basic clinical requirements for joining the program:

• Ability to work a minimum of 34 hours/week
• Active veterinary license/DEA license/CDS license (if applicable) or ability to apply for a license in the state youre applying to work in
• Thrives on feedback and collaboration
• An aptitude and desire to learn strong clinical skills and excellent client communication

• First year salaried compensation based on 30 hours per week in clinic with mentor and 10 hours per week for remote training and support.
