Indian River State College is Hiring a Part-Time Testing Assistant (Pruitt Campus) Near Port St Lucie, FL
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
- Previous testing responsibilities preferred;
- One year of documented work experience in the areas of customer service and/or education;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to maintain strict accuracy and be detail-oriented;
- Ability to deal with confidential reports;
- Positive student-oriented attitude;
- Ability to work with a diverse student population;
- Proper telephone etiquette;
- Technology skills
- Administering exams;
- Helping students to be successful;
- Assisting with the daily responsibilities in Assessment Centers;
- Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse student population;
- Consistently demonstrating sound professional judgment relative to individual students;
- Accurately answering questions both in person and on the telephone;
- Using technology to administer exams;
- Administering exams;
- Tracking distance learning exams;
- Completing data entry;
- Virtually proctor exams;
- Notifying students of placement results;
- Interacting with students, IRSC administration, faculty and staff;
- Employees will be based on one of five IRSC Campuses, but must be flexible and willing to travel to alternate IRSC Campuses;
- Assisting coworkers in the testing process;
- Actively monitoring testing room;
- Must be able to work both day and evening hours during the week;
- Completing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
