QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include :

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
• Previous testing responsibilities preferred;
• One year of documented work experience in the areas of customer service and / or education;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to maintain strict accuracy and be detail-oriented;
• Ability to deal with confidential reports;
• Positive student-oriented attitude;
• Ability to work with a diverse student population;
• Proper telephone etiquette;
• Technology skills

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

The essential job functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :

• Administering exams;
• Helping students to be successful;
• Assisting with the daily responsibilities in Assessment Centers;
• Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse student population;
• Consistently demonstrating sound professional judgment relative to individual students;
• Accurately answering questions both in person and on the telephone;
• Using technology to administer exams;

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

The specific duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to :

• Administering exams;
• Tracking distance learning exams;
• Completing data entry;
• Virtually proctor exams;
• Notifying students of placement results;
• Interacting with students, IRSC administration, faculty and staff;
• Employees will be based on one of five IRSC Campuses, but must be flexible and willing to travel to alternate IRSC Campuses;
• Assisting coworkers in the testing process;
• Actively monitoring testing room;
• Must be able to work both day and evening hours during the week;
• Completing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds.

It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary.
