Indian Rocks Baptist Church is Hiring a Middle School Science Teacher Near Largo, FL
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and state standards.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents on student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participate in school events and activities as required.
- Must give testimony of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be able to substantiate that testimony by evidence of a daily Christian lifestyle
- Must be a spiritually mature, growing Christian who is active in their Christian life and be an active member of Indian Rocks Baptist Church
- Ability to effectively communicate Indian Rocks Christian School's mission, vision, and values to students, faculty, staff, and the broader community.
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
- Teaching certification from ACSI or the ability to obtain one
- Experience teaching upper-level science courses to high school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
