Transformation Lead to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting implementations of large and small changes across Indiana Donor Network (INDN) by using process improvement, project management, and change management methodologies. This role interacts with all levels of INDN to prepare, support, and equip employees to adopt changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, organizational restructures, and more.
Some of the key result areas include: - Promoting all aspects of process improvement, project management, and change management throughout the organization.
- Understanding the overall purposes of each major INDN process and area to support transformation.
- Managing an organization-wide project portfolio and providing regular status updates to sponsors and other impacted parties.
- Integrating data-driven decision-making into project planning and business transformation in tandem with the Manager, Process Improvement, other leaders, and the Business Analytics Department.
- Identifying areas of improvement within the Process Improvement department and other departments as necessary.
- Completing special projects and/or assignments as directed.
Qualifications A bachelor's degree with a focus in project management, healthcare management/administration, business, organizational development, or leadership with 5 years of related experience is preferred. A combination of relevant education, credentials, and/or experience may be considered instead.
Prosci change management certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of hire. Equivalent change management certification or experience may be considered.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Basic understanding of how people experience, resist, and adopt change
- Knowledge of project management principles and how to plan, execute, and track typical project phases
- Exceptional communication skills through face-to-face and virtual interactions with a variety of employees and external partners
- A self-starter who completes projects on time with minimal oversight
- Resiliency and tenacity in the face of ambiguous projects or conditions
- Ability to triage priorities and encourage others to prioritize project goals
- Ability to coach peers and senior leaders through project and change cycles
- Natural curiosity and willingness to keep asking questions until answers are found
- Innate desire to chase problems and push for sustainable solutions
- Comfort and familiarity with software solutions and automation; ability to promote use of these tools across INDN
- Familiarity with data-driven approaches and ability to integrate data into projects
- High level of emotional intelligence and ability to mediate when consensus can't be reached
- Ability to see the big picture but dive into details to understand impact
