PURPOSE: Initiate contact with our Membership & solicit their existing credit and loan accounts over to IMCU. Assist Member Services with calls and loan inquiries.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Solicit membership for member lending needs
• Interview Members for Loans by Phone, Email, Mail, or Fax
• Prepare all loan documents for closing
• Process credit card applications
• Cross Sell Other Credit Union Products
• Process Synapsis Queue Events, reports and other referrals
• Assist with Member Service calls and questions as needed
• Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 High School Diploma or Equivalent
 Two – Three Years of Experience with Indiana Members Credit Union or Equivalent
 Twelve months of Consumer Lending Experience
 Excellent Communication skills – verbal and written
 Proficient with Credit Union core system and all ancillary systems
 Knowledgeable of all consumer lending guidelines/policies and regulations
REGISTRATIONS
This position requires registration as a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Lending System (NMLS) and registry on an annual basis in addition to maintaining updates as needed. Must be registered and approved by the NMLS registry within sixty days of hire date. Failure to register or maintain a current registry, or any criminal activity that would bar continued participation as a MLO may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
