What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate, install, troubleshoot and repair all heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration related electromechanical equipment and HVAC related systems throughout various facilities.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical, electronics, pneumatics and mechanical applications of systems.
• Utilize a basic understanding of the following, but not limited to, air handling units (AHU's), freezers, walk-in refrigerators, special room air balancing (i.e. isolation systems and laminar flow systems), laminar flow systems motor controllers, HEPA filtering requirements, and electronic, HVAC/VAV boxes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• A High School Diploma or GED required.
• A Universal CFC.
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• General knowledge of electrical, electronics, mechanical equipment repair and HVAC related systems.
• Current knowledge of various federal; state; local; OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
• General knowledge of HVAC codes applicable to hospitals.
• Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Experience working in industrial or commercial maintenance is preferred.
• Experience working with BMS software: Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Insight, and Siemens Desigo preferred.
