New Graduates

New registered nurse (RN) graduates benefit from a comprehensive, personalized support system. All RNs in their first nursing role are invited to participate in a Nurse Residency Program alongside nursing orientation. The program provides socialization and support, enhances clinical judgment, and promotes professional development.

Multi-Specialty Critical Care Unit

Multi-Specialty Critical Care (MSCC) is a 13- bed critical care unit that provides care for a medically complex patient population. Gastrointestinal bleeds, overdoses, diabetic keto acidosis, respiratory failure, renal failure, and drug/alcohol withdrawal are examples of the more common diagnoses seen on this unit. Many of the patients of MSCC have comorbidities that complicate their course of treatment, which causes the nursing team to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care and support.

Qualifications

  • Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
    • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
    • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
