Assesses and monitors department compliance with regulatory agencies. Performs inspections and testing of building Life Safety and Critical Utility Systems. Reviews regulatory related inspections and testing records to ensure completeness and corrective follow-up action. Performs field measurements and calculations related to building ventilation, cooling, heating and electrical systems as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in applicable discipline preferred.
• May require a valid Indiana driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Requires advanced knowledge of specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices and air systems.
• Requires the ability to read and interpret information from complex blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Requires extensive knowledge of applicable building codes related to healthcare.
• Requires knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA, Life Safety and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
• Requires proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Requires a minimum of 5 years engineering technical experience in electrical, electronics and building systems in a healthcare environment.
