Indiana University Health is Hiring a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Eagle Highlands Near Indianapolis, IN

Job Description
Are you a Radiologic Technologist who thrives on utilizing your skillset in the OR environment? Are you looking to join a fun, family-like team with no weekends/nights/ call/ or holidays rotations? This position is for you! Come join our team as a Part Time OR Rad Tech in the outpatient surgery world environment!

This position will be scheduled Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7a-3:30p and will report to Eagle Highlands Surgery Center. Floating to other Beltway Surgical Centers throughout Indy for Imaging Services coverage may be needed. The technologist will be responsible for running C-Arms for surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Pain Management, Urology, and Spine procedures, and will act as a liaison between the OR Teams and Imaging Services.

Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric. Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.
  • Basic Life Support certification, required.
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
  • Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
  • Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
