Role :Robotics Automation Engineer

Location : Wilkesboro, NC - Onsite

Duration : Full time

• 4 year University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, System Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in Power Controls, Automation, and/or Robotics Engineering.
• Experience in setting up robots and configuring robot I/O s, the off-line robotic simulation process in conjunction with PLC I/O s and HMI, exchanging tags and data between robots and PLC s through commonly used industrial protocols such as Ethernet IP, EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, etc.
• Experience with interfacing safety devices like E-Stops, light curtains and area scanners with robot programming.
• Working knowledge of raw materials and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques, preferably in the door and window industry.
• Working knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing process improvement techniques including, but not limited to, SQDCI, OTD, TPS, and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies and activities.
