The Enterprise Systems Manager will work with multiple stakeholders across the organization to support, design, select, and improve technology systems. This role manages the overall programs for the ERP and related applications & solutions, including new implementations, projects, enhancements, and support & maintenance to meet the business's needs. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking. The role directly leads projects, including performing project management and business systems analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and other critical business applications.
? Lead the selection process for new systems working with business leaders to ensure that the solution selected is viable and scalable for current and future business needs.
? Cybersecurity ? respond to security incidents as identified by users or security monitoring tools to mitigate threats.
? Collaborate with business leadership to understand their goals, challenges, and opportunities to translate business objectives into IT initiatives and ensure that technology solutions support these objectives
? Ensure that systems are configured, integrated, and optimized to meet business needs efficiently.
? Provide administrative support for systems across the organization and serve as the escalation point for internal department system owners to resolve issues.
? Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard enterprise systems and sensitive data
? Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, staying abreast of changes and proactively addressing potential issues.
? Negotiate contracts, review service level agreements, and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
? Develop and implement training programs for end-users to ensure optimal utilization of enterprise systems.
? Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
? Develop and manage the budget for enterprise systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals
? Provide operational support on other systems such as SharePoint, OneDrive, expense platforms, HRIS, Teams, Zoom, and document management.
? Ability to work some weekends or extended hours for on-call support.
Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
? Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience as an IT Business Partner, Enterprise System Leader, Business Analyst, or similar role.
? Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms in a life sciences manufacturing environment.
? Strong understanding of enterprise-level applications, including ERP, HRIS, and content/document management.
? Microsoft experience, being part of a team responsible for Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 offerings.
Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities
? Experience leading complex IT system implementations, including managing external partners and technical teams
? Experience in effectively communicating systems and integration concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
? Hands-on experience in integrating systems across an enterprise
? Proven experience leading innovative digital enterprise transformation and implementing modern technologies such as cloud and emerging technologies to enable productivity and growth.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Technical writing skills for updating SOPs, WI, Knowledgebase articles etc.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
? Knowledge of data security and regulatory compliance (e.g. SOX, NIST, ISO)
? Project management experience, including budget and resource management.
? Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and directed.
