Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Status: Full-time, Exempt

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager; you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and supply chain operations for our industrial construction projects. You will ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your role will involve strategic planning, vendor management, contract negotiation, and coordination with various internal departments to support projects.

Objectives Of This Role
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project requirements and company objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Manage and oversee the entire supply chain process, including purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliable supply and service.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to forecast material and equipment needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to prevent disruptions to project timelines.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the procurement and supply chain functions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Supervision of other employees.
  • 10-20% Travel requirements are dynamic and depend on project locations.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are preferred.
