Our Architectural/Engineering Firm primarily serves the Semiconductor industry locally in the Chandler Arizona area, though we do work across the valley and in Rio Rancho New Mexico too. Our projects are related to equipment installation and building modifications with industrial and commercial applications. We offer services in many disciplines of design including architectural, structural, mechanical, process piping, chemical, electrical, I&C and telecom.
The candidate who is hired would provide Engineering services related to various phases of design projects including: development of preliminary designs, complete design packages, calculations, QAQC, and field inspections / observations. This position is 85% desk and 15% field work in industrial environment.
This is a full-time, long-term position. Our primary work sites are both in Chandler Arizona and the Electrical Designer position will be based in an office at one of these two locations. Occasional travel between the two sites while on company time is required.
The successful candidate will be a part of an electrical team that is a recognized national center of excellence for mission critical and laboratory facilities that also provides design support for a wide variety of project types and sizes throughout the United States while also focused on growing a local team of designers to support local, regional, and national clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed individual who wants to mentor staff, take on new challenges, and grow a team of electrical designers.
