Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinists to join our team on the 1st shift.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the programming, set-up, adjustment and operation of CNC Mills on parts of varying complexity
- Uses computer printouts for proper sequencing of machine set-ups, selecting and placing tooling and fixtures
- Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Measuring and recording to ensure product is within customer specifications
- Monitors dimensions and makes adjustments as required to maintain tolerances.
- Perform routine machine maintenance; Chuck greasing, adding oils & maintaining coolants
- Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required
- Make edits when necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill & Ability:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in programming, set-up and operating
- Mastercam knowledgeable
- Experienced in set-up through operation
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions
- Ability to understand manufacturing program
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely
- Must be mechanically inclined and have good math skill
