Position Summary
Reporting to the Controller, IMPCO is seeking an accounting and finance professional to manage Accounts Receivables, Collections, and Invoicing, as well as have some general accounting and cost accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:
· Assure computer operation accuracy as it relates to the financial statements of the company and timeliness of information for users.
· Issue invoices.
· Follow up with customers to ensure timely collections.
· Calculate and track agent commissions.
· Post cash receipts.
· Prepare reports for annual audit.
· Phone backup or routine office duties as needed.
Cost Accounting and General Accounting:
· Maintain Job Cost records for major Jobs. Ensure accurate Job Cost data to assure accurate financial statement presentation, as well as to help manage the business.
· Track progress on major Jobs.
· Maintain accuracy of inventory quantities and valuation.
· Jointly with the Controller, responsible for the analysis and forecasting of Machine Job hours and cost data, forecasted billings and collections.
· Perform monthly balance sheet analysis of key accounts.
· Perform monthly variance analysis of key income statement accounts.
· Run WIP reports on open jobs and on job orders that have shipped.
· Assist with preparation of the annual financial statement audit, month end close, and other reporting.
· Other duties as assigned.
Candidate Selection Criteria
· Experience in Accounts Receivable and Cost Accounting or General Accounting.
· A minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Experience in Manufacturing, Tier 1 Supplier, or related field a plus.
· Experience using customer portal.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Access. Advanced Excel skills required.
· Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a huge plus.
