Cloud System AdministratorIndustrial Metal Supply, founded in 1948, is a leading metal distributor with seven locations in California and Arizona. We are entering an exciting new growth phase as we strive to further expand our customer base and operations. We are seeking a dynamic Cloud System Administrator who is looking for a long-term career growth opportunity with our company. The position is on-site and based out of our corporate headquarters in Sun Valley (Los Angeles), CA Reports to: Chief Technology Officer Salary Range: $100,000 to $125,000 D.O.E. plus bonus incentive.Duties And Responsibilities
Manage and optimize all assigned on-premises and cloud resources
Construct and maintain scripts (mainly PowerShell) to facilitate user account provisioning and ensure scripts adhere to industry standards
Create and update scripts for deploying and removing AWS, Azure cloud environments and resources
Implement scalability techniques for scaling up and scaling down while ensuring security procedures are adhered to
Identify, recommend, coordinate, and implement cost optimization possibilities for cloud resources and other managed SaaS systems that have been approved
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field
Required Skills And ExperienceMust Haves
3 years of experience with AWS platform tools and services
Proven ability to develop and debug scripts for user onboarding and provisioning, O365 resource provisioning
Familiarity with both AWS automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) and Microsoft technologies (AADC, GPO, Azure, Azure MFA, O365, Exchange, Mail Relay, Sites and Services, Extended attributes, etc.)
Experience with system management, SNS, R53, VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, ALB, Global Accelerator, Certificate manager, RDS, FSX, CloudTrail, Lambda, S3, IAM, and Workspaces, as well as AWS organizational account best practices
Strong troubleshooting skills for HTTP response codes, SSO/SAML/SCIM, LDAP, DNS, and email routing/tracing, as well as the ability to maintain security compliance through coordinated Windows and Linux application and system patching
Administration experience with enterprise platforms such as Veeam, and VMware.
Capability to provide after-hours support to identify and resolve issues relating to accessing corporate IT-managed resources
Capability to design and implement dependable and scalable solutions to meet desired functionality, as well as to establish and manage all continuity requirements to support disaster recovery
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of expertise developing SAML integrations in Azure to facilitate SSO-based authentication
Knowledge of PowerShell
