We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team, specializing in selling commercial and industrial painting services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, developing relationships, and closing deals that align with our company's painting solutions.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and research potential clients in the commercial and industrial sectors who require painting services.
Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals to generate leads.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations outlining the scope of work, timelines, and costs.
Collaborate with our estimating team to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of proposals.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Establish rapport with key decision-makers to position our company as the preferred painting contractor.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure profitable agreements.
Close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the commercial or industrial painting industry, or the construction industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-driven mindset.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel the region as needed.
