Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, innovative, and analytical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budget constraints. Your daily activities will include maintaining project scope, creating schedules, managing time, mitigating risks, and reporting on project progress.
Responsibilities:
- Review project proposals/plans to determine timelines, funding, procedures, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts, including fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, while maintaining a good relationship with clients.
- Plan, forecast, maintain, and reconcile payroll, expenses, materials, and tools.
- Administer and supervise all purchasing activities for projects.
- Negotiate and execute project purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Network with potential and existing clients to secure future projects.
- Prepare project reports for management, clients, or other stakeholders.
- Create accurate schedules to ensure project deadlines are met and optimize field personnel.
- Develop and implement Method of Procedures (MOPOs).
- Review status reports (Daily Logs) and modify schedules as required.
- Oversee project submittals, RFIs, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent to support daily construction activities.
Qualifications:
- A 4-year degree in Project Management is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction, design, and management.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and ability to obtain security clearances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity apps (Outlook, Excel, Word, Planner).
- Ability to draft correspondence and communicate objectives effectively.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
- Experience with Bluebeam software.
