Position Summary:

Pro Inspection Services, an Industrial Service Solutions company is looking for an NDT Level II PAUT Technician with ASME Piping and Vessel Experience. The ideal individual shall have sufficient technical knowledge and skills to be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. The NDT Level II shall be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel. The NDE Level II shall be able to organize, and report results of NDT tests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation of Olympus OmniScan MX2 PAUT Flaw Detector.
• Perform daily weld inspection
• With very minimal supervision, be able to setup and perform all level II duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have piping and ASME Vessel Experience.
• Must provide proof of classroom training hours in UT and PAUT.
• Must have 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
• Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of training assistant radiographers.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
• Remain constantly active throughout shift.
• Vision abilities: Near vision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Non-destructive testing: 3 years (Preferred)
• ASME Piping and Vessel: 3 years (Preferred)
