The Procurement Team- Materials Buyer is primarily responsible for the purchasing of materials to ensure adequate inventory levels and exceptional service to our team members and vendors.

Resources as referenced are procurement, resources, inventory, and vendor relationships.

Procurement

1. Utilize Cloud Based Operations System to analyze and procure inventory for our Operations.

2. Exercise strategic sourcing and procurement methods to assist in market growth.

3. Utilize effective negotiation skills to reduce the landed cost of goods.

4. Work cooperatively with the Procurement Team to discover new and complementary items that fit our market and add to our value as a partner.

5. Work, as a part of the procurement team, to create processes to aid our internal customers, promote vendor relations and uphold the reputation of our company.

Resources

1. Adopt and aid in development of processes which maximize the effective utilization of company resources.

Inventory

1. Use of effective planning, utilization of software and management of all available resources to maintain a strong working inventory.

2. Provide and maintain the inputs necessary for effective procurement including quality, quantity, correct delivery location and cost control.

Vendor Relationships

1. Cultivate skills in a team environment to aid our internal customers, vendor relations and the reputation of our company.

2. Maintain and promote healthy relations with supply chain partners.

Requirements

Minimum: College Degree in related field or commensurate experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
