Bolton Holdings, LLC through its operational entities Industrial Tent Systems (ITS) & Lodging Solutions is the premier installer of temporary structures and mobile lodging for Refineries, Utilities, and Emergency Response throughout the United States. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform essential upkeep on our fleet or trailers. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning to ensure that our equipment is both tidy and functional, to changing a toilet in a bathroom trailer to building out a culinary trailer. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
· Perform minor repairs, such as fixing broken locks, signs, plumbing on trailers, minor electrical repairs, and small carpentry tasks, etc.
· Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
· Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
· Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
· Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, replacing DC converters, installing tankless water heaters, and running gas lines to appliances in kitchen trailers
· Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
· Test the functionality of the mobile asset’s safety systems
· Report to Fleet Manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress
Requirements
· 5 years of fleet maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent required
· Basic working knowledge of HVAC, hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical systems
· Mechanical experience around trailers and air brake systems preferred
· Experience working with tools, including hand tools and electrical power tools
· Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required and must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
· General passion for creative problem-solving
· CDL preferred but not required
· Must have clean driving record (driving company vehicles required)
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at a time regularly
· Must be able to climb a ladder and work from heights with proper safety equipment
· Must be able to be on feet 8hrs a day and be able to walk on a variety of surfaces
· Must be able to work overtime, must be able to travel to jobsites nationwide
