Psych Registered Nurse (RN)

Duration: 16 weeks (On-site)

Shifts Available: Nights, 11pm-7:30am, E/o weekend, 40 hours/week

Bed Capacity: 300

Local's Pay Rate: $50/hour on W2 benefits (Depending on Experience)

Traveler's Pay Rate: $50/hour on W2 benefits ($21/hour taxable & $29/hour non-taxable)

OT Rate: 1.5x to the Pay Rate (Time & 1/2)

Holiday Rate: 1.5x to the Pay Rate (Time & 1/2)

Summary:

Specialty: Nursing

Sub Specialty(s): RN, Psychiatric

**Orientation will be conducted in 1st shift (7a-3:30p) for first 3 weeks**

• Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
• Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health
• Preparing patients for exams and treatment
• Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
• Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team
• Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
• Assisting in medical procedures as needed
• Operating and monitoring medical equipment
• Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
• Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
• Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students

Requirement, Certification, Registration & Licensure:

• RN - State of NC/Multistate
• BLS Certification from AHA
• Vaccinated against Covid-19 or approved exemption
• Two (2) Supervisor/Team Lead references from previous employments
