Infineon Technologies is Hiring a Director Project Management (f/m/div) Near Munich, ND

Are you ready to lead the charge in the dynamic world of automotive E-Mobility? As Director Project Management (f/m/div), you will spearhead and orchestrate multiple high-impact development projects with far-reaching implications. As the driving force behind our projects, you will empower project managers to surmount cross-cultural challenges and ensure the successful attainment of project objectives. Your astute ability to identify and address complex problems with innovative solutions will be pivotal. Demonstrating forward-thinking risk management and fostering strong stakeholder collaboration to preempt and address potential issues will be central to this role. Moreover, your adept communication and stakeholder management skills in an international context will be essential. If you possess a fervor for reevaluating established processes, recommending enhancements, and effecting organizational transformation, we invite you to lead the way in shaping the future of automotive E-Mobility. Your new tasks will include:
  • Leading and overseeing multiple development projects in the field of E-Mobility with significant complexity, risk, reach, and noticeable impact
  • Empowering Project Managers of sub-projects to deliver on project objectives, considering cross-cultural and location-related topics appropriately
  • Maintaining an overview and understanding of technical interdependencies to proactively identify the most complex problems and lead others to think beyond existing solutions to solve them
  • Conducting forward-looking risk management and work with stakeholders to identify possible mitigation measures and/or backup scenarios
  • Establishing a communication framework and ensure timely provision of all relevant information to all levels of the project organization
  • Actively managing your key stakeholders in an international environment, involving negotiation and convincing others to accept positions or trade-offs
  • Assessing and challenging existing processes, propose process improvements, and manage the rollout into the organization
You are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority. You anticipate even the future needs of customers and engage actively with the customer about these needs. You act as an entrepreneur, focus on results and stay aware of costs. You commit yourself to the results of your own team and the company as a whole. Furthermore, you have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company and concentrate your creativity and knowledge on producing results with real added value.
You are best equipped for those tasks if you have:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics or related studies combined with a good technical understanding, PhD degree advantageous
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in the field of semiconductor products and thereof 4 years of leading projects and project teams
  • Project Management certification (e.g. IPMA C) is a plus
  • Experience with semiconductor technology and package development as valuable asset
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to understand and structure complex project situations, manage crisis situations, consolidate, and present them at the senior management level, while also performing confidently in front of customers, even in challenging situations
  • Excellent English skills, German skills (or willingness to learn the language) are advantageous
Austria: We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
