The Role:As a Controls & Automation Technician, you will be at the forefront of operations, ensuring the smooth fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of the company's cutting-edge automation and control systems. Responsibilities:
Fabricate and Assemble: Bring automation systems to life.
Electrical Expertise: Build and wire electrical panels.
Troubleshooting Master: Solve complex issues using your knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, and more.
Inspection and Testing: Ensure every system operates flawlessly.
Maintenance: Perform both preventative and corrective tasks to keep systems running smoothly.
System Configuration: Set parameters and sequences for optimal performance.
Support: Back up our pneumatic and hydraulic system projects.
Customer Satisfaction: Deliver high-quality service and foster excellent customer relationships.
Travel: Occasionally travel overnight for installations and commissioning.
Requirements:
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in fabricating and assembling controls, automation systems, and electronic components.
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Design Acumen Understanding of design and product specifications.
Field Experience: Hands-on experience with system installation.
Math and Reading Skills: Strong analytical abilities.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment:
