What You’ll DoAs the Production Manager, you'll be at the heart of the manufacturing process, ensuring smooth and profitable operations. You'll lead and inspire supervisors and production staff, maintain high safety and quality standards, and drive efficiency across various departments. Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Conduct comprehensive reviews of all blow molds, annealing units, cables, gates, debaggers, and baggers. Focus on improving resin shrink, jug weights, and fill weights.
Downtime Reduction: Analyze and implement strategies to minimize filler downtime waiting on container supply.
Sanitation and Quality: Collaborate with the Production Manager to uphold master sanitation schedules.
Cost Management: Ensure customer orders are produced cost-effectively while meeting safety and quality standards.
Metrics Analysis: Regularly evaluate operations and key metrics to enhance efficiency and contain costs.
Standard Procedures: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all activities.
Safety Programs: Assist in the development and implementation of robust safety programs.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supervisors and employees understand and follow company policies and regulations.
Team Communication: Conduct departmental meetings to discuss policies, plans, and operations.
Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels and manage purchases as needed.
Employee Management: Lead recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, and performance management of assigned employees. Maintain positive employee relations and ensure compliance with employment policies.
What You Bring
Experience: 5 to 8 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food and/or beverage manufacturing.
Expertise: Prior experience in blow mold operations and manufacturing maintenance is highly preferred.
Leadership: Proven supervisory or management experience.
Certifications: Certification and/or licensing may be required during employment.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits:
