Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychology Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess knowledge in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology, and various counseling techniques.
Duties:
- Provide psychological support and counseling to patients, particularly children and adolescents
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Implement cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Offer specialized counseling services such as grief counseling, Christian counseling, and pediatric psychology
- Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a hospital environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its applications in mental health treatment
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
